We are committed to creating an environment where employees can do their best work and where best-in-class talent comes, stays, and thrives!As a Workplace Services Receptionist, you are responsible for performing various administrative tasks, including giving information to employees and visitors and is often the first point of engagement with employees and visitors. This position is responsible for making a good first impression for the organization, which can affect the organization’s success.In this role, you will provide all administrative and reception needs including but not limited to greeting employees and visitors, taking phone calls, conference room scheduling and escalation of issues, break relief, and more.What you will do:* Greet employees and visitors, contact appropriate parties for visitors (clients, applicants, customers, and visitors)* Conduct visitor registration through badging software, issues visitor badges* Receive special deliveries to the reception desk and notifies the appropriate party for pick-up* Assist with managing, scheduling, and preparing designated conference rooms along with coordinating setup of designated conference rooms to approved Facilities standards, ensuring rooms and equipment within are in good operating condition* Understand the needs of the employee or visitor and provide a solution or escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate resource* Follow Premera security procedures for screening inbound deliveries* Order office supplies and other common use items for reception and designated conference rooms as needed* Maintain neat appearance in the reception area and designated conference rooms and enters service tickets as needed (IT, AV, Facilities, Janitorial and Security) and tracks their status to completion* Bring a Safety and Security mindset to ensure safety and security standards are met, recognizing safety and security issues, and responding accordingly* Maintain a file of services including transportation sources, accommodations, and referral contactsWhat you will bring:* High School Diploma or GED* 1 year of related experience (receptionist, hospitality, front desk, or customer services experience)* Strong computer skills, including MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and SharePoint* Knowledge and experience with use of a phone system* Strong organizational skills* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsWhat we offer* Medical, vision and dental coverage* Life and disability insurance* Retirement programs (401K employer match and pension plan)* Wellness incentives, onsite services, a discount program and more* Tuition assistance for undergraduate and graduate degrees* Generous Paid Time Off to reenergize* Free parkingEqual employment opportunity/affirmative action:Premera is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
