Senior Restoration Technician

Seeking a fulltime Senior Restoration Technician (SRT) for a local property restoration company.

Service Team of Professionals is a nationalfranchise with local ownership.

We are a small but quickly growing company.

OBJECTIVE: To hire or develop personnel possessing an in-depth knowledge of nearly all aspects of property restoration.

By doing so, the franchise enhances its’ capability to render professional-level service in a timely and quality manner.

In the process, our technical skill enables jobs to be completed right the first time.

This is a critical objective to sustain our competitive edge in the restoration marketplace.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Senior Restoration Technician (SRT) possesses priorproperty restoration experience or significant general construction experience.The SRT is capable of planning job components and activities necessary to process jobs according to industry standards.

The SRT serves as a trainer, and assists in the development of other restoration personnel in the franchise.

The SRT understands customer requirements based on timeliness of service, sensitivity to the situation, and equipment and process planning.

QUALIFICATIONS: The SRT has a minimum of 3 to 5 years of resolving complex technical issues and challenges.

The SRT is capable of setting-up jobs in their entirety and assuring successful outcomes.

Problematic situations that may arise are handled by the SRT by interfacing withmanagement personnel, as necessary.

The SRT possesses several industry certifications in a broad range of restoration specialties or is able to secure the proper certifications in a reasonable timeframe.

Understanding and following detailed Master Job Plans, along with coordinating and directing the efforts of other technicians is necessary.

A valid drivers’ license, a clear drug test, and a background check are necessary prior to hiring.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The SRT is responsible for the complete execution of all types of restoration jobs.

The SRT follows the information on the Master Job plan and coordinates with others related to the job as needed.

The SRT understands all aspects of job set-up, equipment and machine selection, the designation of PPE and chemicals as needed for each job, and any other elements or items that would impact the successful completion of the job.

The SRT prepares necessary paperwork and forms used in the planning, control and monitoring of all types of restoration processing.

The SRT provides information tomanagement as needed to assure the competent and efficient completion of the job.

Troubleshooting and problem-solving are part of the SRTs responsibilities.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: The SRT is required to keep all certifications current and valid.

In addition, the SRT attends advanced professional/technical training either in-house, or at certain technical certifying sources as determined by management.

In addition, the SRT may attend certain STOP trainings as designated by management.

In most instances, these trainings require out-of-town travel and overnight lodging.

The duration is generally 2 to 3 days for each training event.

OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED: The SRT undertakes special projects, information acquisition, and other tasks, as needed.

The SRT participates in the on-call rotation, and is required to respond to emergency situations after hours, on weekends, and holidays.

Other assignments on a “one-of-a-kind” nature may be given.
