As a Compliance Support Specialist, you will support and promote FBH’s vision and mission to enhance and change lives.

A Compliance Support Specialist performs duties that ensure accurate billing and reporting.

Many of the tasks associated with this role require and expertise and efficiency in data entry.

The Compliance Support Specialist is an integral part of every service area within FBH and requires knowledge of both general operations and contractual requirements.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Familiarity with basic computer software, including but not limited to: operating systems, email, and internet is required.

Experience in a Microsoft Office environment and experience with electronic medical records are preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES includes but are not limited to the following:
Work with all programs areas to develop efficient workflows and accuracy of service reporting and billing.
Review a minimum number of encounters per day, per service area and assign appropriate CPT or HCPC codes based on documentation.
Participate in routine trainings and meetings, as needed, to understand service reporting requirements.
Track encounters that require correction and follow through on outstanding items.
Provide education and assistance to direct service staff for correcting documentation.
Accurately record clinical information as it impacts billing and reimbursements.
Enter data into the electronic auditing tool.
Greet each internal customer, whether by phone or in person, in a warm, welcoming and professional manner.
Demonstrate a positive attitude and efforts toward meeting the needs of internal and external customers.

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:
REQUIRED:
High School graduate or equivalent required.
Two years billing experience required
– College education or specialty certification may be substituted for experience.

PREFERRED:
Electronic Medical Records data entry experience preferred.
