This is a Full-time position in spokane, wa posted June 14, 2021.

In a clinic setting, assists in the care of patients by preparing and administering medications, under supervision; maintains proper records of inventory and usage of drugs.Assist in opening and closing of dispensary clinic.

Appropriately dispenses Methadone, Buprenorphine/Naloxone, Buprenorphine, Naltrexone, and other medications such as Antabuse to registered patients as required.Monitor all patients (with special attention to stabilizing, detoxifying and pregnant patients) during dispensing to ensure they are using medication properly.

Report any concerns to the Clinical Nurse 1 providing oversight.Utilize medical judgment during the stabilization process and during daily dispensing to ensure patients are utilizing medications properly and appropriately.

Inform Clinical Nurse 1 as necessary on patient care.Record and account for all Methadone, Buprenorphine/Naloxone, Buprenorphine, Naltrexone received and dispensed under self.Perform prescription medication pill counts at the window and ensure appropriate documentation of pill count is obtained.Monitor and ensure patient medication orders and schedules are up to date.

Inform Clinical Nurse 1 providing oversight about expired or incorrect orders.Prepare take home doses of OTP prescribed medications as prescribed by the medical director and/or OTP ARNPs.Update weekly, biweekly, and monthly carry lists with up-to-date patient information and pick up dates.Ensure adequate supplies are procured as required and advise the overseeing Clinical Nurse 1 as to any additional needed equipment or supplies.Provide filing support for medication report sheets, courtesy dosing, and SAMHSA requests.Participate in Quality Improvement and Logic Models for program evaluation.Maintain HIPAA and 42 C.F.R.

Part 2 Confidentiality.Required Minimum Qualifications:Graduation from an accredited LPN programOne year of experience as an LPN.

Previous experience working with individuals with a history of substance abuse or mental illness is helpful.
