Avalon Care Center at Northpointe in Spokane is now hiring Licensed Practical Nurses to join our outstanding team for full time, part time, and PRN!

– $42.52
PRN shift differential of $2/hr.

weekdays and $5/hr.

on weekends!

Shifts available:
8 hour: DAY 6:00AM
– 2:30PM; NOC 10:00PM
– 6:00AM
12 hour: NOC 6:00PM
– 6:00AM

Our Skilled Nursing Facility has some of the largest patient spaces in Spokane, with wide open day rooms and large, spacious patient rooms.

We have Long term Care, Short Term Care, and a 20 bed sub-acute unit – totaling 119 beds when at full capacity!
Under the supervision of the registered nurse, advanced practice registered nurse, or other health care provider authorized by the state; the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will participate in the development, implementation and modification of the comprehensive plan of care for facility residents.

He/She will practice within the legal boundaries for practical nursing authorized by the state for the delivery of patient care and related services.
Must hold and maintain a current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in practicing state.
Demonstrates understanding that state and Federal rules and regulations govern the practices within the facility.
Demonstrates working knowledge of infection control principles and practices.
Must meet all local health regulation and pass post-employment physical exam if required.

This requirement also includes drug screening, criminal background investigation and reference inquiry.
Recent clinical experience, education, or specialty skills specific to geriatrics.
