FRONTIER BEHAVIORAL HEALTH IS SEEKING MENTAL HEALTH TECHNICIANS – FULL TIME, PART TIME AND ON CALL!

SHIFTS: VARY

Frontier Behavioral Health (FBH) has had a presence in Spokane for more than 100 years, allowing our non-profit organization to understand the varied needs of our clients and the larger community.

In this position, you will provide close oversight and monitoring of the client’s activities/behaviors/statements to ensure safety and to assist in the stabilization process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes but are not limited to the following:
Provide clear, objective clinical documentation regarding consumers’ activities/behaviors/statements.
Provide feedback to clinical staff regarding consumers’ activities/behaviors/statements.
Adhere to and follow the consumers’ treatment plans and PCP instructions regarding the care of consumers.
Complete accurately, thoroughly and within specified time frames all required documentation.
Provide verbal redirection to consumers regarding crisis respite “Rules of Conduct” and as instructed by clinical staff.
Provide gradual guidance and physical intervention to those consumers who require physical prompting to complete tasks.
Remain alert and provide direct line of sight monitoring of consumers.
Provide general house cleaning services i.e.

vacuuming, dusting, washing dishes, changing of linens, sanitation of counters, toilets and bathtubs, etc.
Provide supportive listening to consumers.
Maintain and enhance customer service to ensure that both external and internal customers of FBH have a positive experience.
Comply with all FBH and Behavioral Health Triage policies and procedures.
QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:

REQUIRED:
High School Diploma or GED
Must have a CURRENT NAR/NAC
Must have a Food Handlers Permit.
Experience in crisis intervention and providing in-home services to individuals requiring stabilization services.
