Additional Information
Federal Contractor Vaccine Mandate

Coffman Engineers is a federal contractor and is therefore subject to the vaccination requirements of the “Executive Order on Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors” (EO) found here.

We have determined that if hired, you will either be performing work on federal projects, working at an office that performs work on federal contracts, or doing work in connection with a federal contract.

According to the EO, this means you will be required to be fully vaccinated unless you apply for, and are approved for, an exemption due to a disability or a sincerely-held religious belief.

Therefore, if hired, you will be required to provide proof of vaccination according to the terms of the EO.

If you require an accommodation due to a disability or sincerely-held religious belief, it will be considered after you are hired and, if an accommodation is granted, you will not be required to be vaccinated.

However, even with an approved exemption, you could still be unable to work on federal projects (it depends on several factors, including the requirements of the federal agency in charge of our projects).

If you are unable to work on federal projects, or an exemption is not allowed, unfortunately your employment could be terminated.

If you have any questions about the mandate, how to request an exemption, or any other questions generated by this message, please contact the HR Representative with whom you have been working.

Thank you for your understanding during this time of transition in our country.
