Market Research Analyst IIOpportunity OverviewThis position is responsible for supporting the Bank’s primary market research and analytics team, providing market, employee and client intelligence in support of corporate and strategic objectives.

Supports and develops conceptual and methodical approaches to solving marketing related organizational problems through research.

Supports and develops the design and produces intelligence on the Bank’s competitive position on all products to help drive client acquisition and retention efforts.As a Market Research Analyst II with Banner Bank you will have the opportunity to:Leads data collection on clients, competitors and market place consolidating information into actionable items, reports and presentations.Analyzes activities of market and client research, marketing, and product research to provide information to decision makers.

Provides primary research efforts, including survey administration, focus groups, and overall Voice of the Customer management.

Provides support for the bank’s client segmentation modeling and campaign infrastructure, promotion and campaign populations and tracking efforts though financial and performance analysis.Responsible for compiling and analyzing statistical data using modern and traditional methods to collect information.

Tracks changes in market trends, technology, client sentiments, pertinent regulatory changes and other information impacting the positioning/strategic goals of Banner’s products.Responsible for the creation of visual trends of industry and competitors so organization can predict how products and services will fare in the marketplace.

Measures the effectiveness of marketing programs, campaigns and strategies.Supports the application of client modeling and campaign analytics systems as well as applications for predictive analytics.Responsible for direct marketing efforts by creating campaign populations and analyzing response tactics, including relationship marketing/data driven marketing projects, pre
– and post-campaign response analysis and ad hoc business opportunity analysis to drive product usage, new sales, and revenue growth.

Correlate response metrics to client profitability and ROI.Responsible with managing banks Voice of the customer programs, analyze and increase awareness of client survey sentiments across business lines and delivery channels (branch, digital, web, call center, ATM/ITM, cards, etc.).

Assist with providing cross channel view of client experience for strategic insights.Responsible for the publication and distribution of product and services dashboard and metrics reporting.

Evaluates data and provides insights including identifying opportunities for improving product adoption and client engagement.QUALIFICATIONSEducation & CertificationsAssociate’s Degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Marketing Research, Marketing, or Finance; Statistics or other job related fields requiredBachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Marketing Research, Marketing, or Finance; Statistics or other job related fields preferredMaster’s Degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Marketing Research and/or Marketing; or other job related fields preferredExperience3+ years in of experience in market research, including statistical, financial, survey methodologies and SWOT analysis.

Experience in banking or financial industry with knowledge of bank products and services requiredKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAdvanced knowledge of and expertise in data analysis with keen ability to analyze data and draw logical conclusions and actionable items.Advanced knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and a variety of the research field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.

Ability to apply independent critical thinking for model development and analysis.Ability to interpret large amounts of data and to multi-task.Advanced organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple project concurrently.

Ability to meet deadlines and provide accurate information under pressure.Advanced verbal, written, and communication skills.

Possess analytical skills, advanced problem solving ability.
