Marketing Advisor

Northwest Farm Credit Services

This is a Full-time position in Spokane, WA posted January 13, 2022.

Northwest Farm Credit Services is in search of a Marketing Advisor to join our Marketing & Learning department in our Spokane Headquarters location.

As a member-owned financial cooperative, we help business owners in agriculture, forestry and fisheries secure the financing they need to operate and grow, and the crop insurance they need to protect their livelihoods.

Our customers are primarily located in Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Washington and Alaska.

This full-time position reports to the EVP-Chief Marketing and Learning Officer and supports business development and marketing teams to put customers at the center of Northwest FCS by representing the customer and business development teams to HQ staff and collaborating on marketing activities with business development teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Participate with business development and marketing leaders to update marketing strategy and build marketing plans and communications calendar.

Support Marketing team’s efforts to put the customer at the center of all we do.
Support research, assessment and development of customer experience research and journey mapping by representing account teams and the voice of the customer.
Facilitate planning, execution and evaluation of field marketing campaigns between marketing and business development teams to achieve marketing plan goals.
Identify prospect sources, and support building and managing prospect databases and lead generation to feed business development activities.
Assist in measuring and assessing the impact of marketing, advertising and business development activities on customer growth and retention.
Support business development teams’ planning and execution of regional events including trade shows, industry events, customer meetings, etc.
Collaborate with business development leaders and customer experience team to gather competitor and marketing intelligence, including competitive pricing and marketing/advertising content to guide ongoing planning.
Build strong partnerships through regular touch points with field teams to stay informed of changes in local environments and feed needs and information into ongoing marketing planning processes.
Serve as a marketing ambassador to field teams, championing Northwest FCS’ brand to ensure all marketing activities and materials align with the brand, and support implementation of marketing plans.
Support development and updating of advertising, marketing and sales support materials by assisting with planning, writing, editing, and content review.
Support customer education planning, coordination and execution of deliverables.

Regularly seek feedback from business development teams.
Perform all duties and maintain all standards in accordance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Solid knowledge of sales, business and marketing strategies and principles.
Capability to adjust and work with various teams and build positive working relationships.
Advanced presentation skills and ability to work within and meet deadlines.
Ability to effectively communicate insights and ideas.
Solid understanding of market dynamics, and customer requirements.
Ability to travel regionally, up to 25%.
