Agilent is looking for a self-motivated, and talented tax professional to join our tax department at Agilent HQ to support our growing company.

This position will be concentrating on a wide range of international and federal income tax functions, including international tax compliance, controversy, provision, planning, and other special projects.

This position reports to the Tax Director.

Primarily, your responsibilities will include: Tax Return Compliance and Tax AccountingPrepare/review quarterly and annual US international (subpart F, GILTI, foreign tax credit and FDII) calculations for inclusion into the global effective tax rate calculation.Prepare/ Review of APB23 model updates, Sec.

987 calculation updates, tax basis calculations, and asset allocation calculations for FTC model.Maintain supporting calculations and documentation of earnings and profits pools, tax pools, PTEP, and US tax basis for foreign subsidiaries and/or branches.Analyze and calculate taxable distributions and provide other analysis in connection with cash repatriations.Prepare/review international portion of the U.S.

Income Tax Return Forms 1120 and 1118, including information reporting on Form 5471, Form 8858, and all related elections and disclosures ensuring accurate tax filings.

Tax Planning Analysis and SupportClosely work with Tax Planning Team, and TP team to ensure US international tax implications of M& A transactions, post M& A integrations, and restructuring taken into an account in income tax provision and compliance.Participate in technical risk and quantitative impact analysis concerning legislative proposals that may impact US international tax position.Research international tax issues and positions related to tax return preparation, audit support, and tax planning as needed.Assist in drafting responses to inquiries, data requests, audits, and proposed adjustments received from the U.S.

tax authorities.Evaluate requests for information from government officials and participate in developing strategies to successfully defend tax filing positions.Assist in monitoring and analyzing final and proposed tax legislation.
