Nature and ScopeTotal Rewards Specialist will support the ongoing maintenance and annual Total Reward activities (compensation, benefits, rewards programs, etc.) plus assist with the implementation of any new compensation and benefit plans.

The primary focus will be administering compensation programs and processes with a secondary focus on benefits support.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesConducts compensation market analysis and aligns data to the pay structure to ensure market competitiveness, internal equity and differentiation.Collaborates with HR Business Partners to coach and provide consultation and recommendations on the market analysis and pay structure and compensation.Participates in several salary surveys and manages the compensation data management tool.May develop, recommend, and implement compensation process and policy changes.Performs scheduled review of current pay structure to ensure market competitiveness.Supports the Total Rewards Director on the annual compensation processes including the merit, short-term incentive and long-term incentive programs.Coordinates and supports implementation and administration of compensation and benefit programs.Compile data for annual audits, filings and other initiatives as needed.Support the Benefits team as needed with projects such as annual Open Enrollment.

Complete cross-training and provide back-up when staffing needs dictate it.

Provide concierge-level service in answering employees’ benefit questions, Leave of Absence inquiries, Workday process questions, etc.

Education Requirements and QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a related discipline1 years of experience in data analytics within compensation and benefitsExperience with HRIS systems relating to compensation and benefit business processes required; Workday experience a plus.Proficient in Microsoft Office programsExperience with compensation data management tools a plus (such as Payfactors or MarketPay PayScale)Experience with union pay structures a plus.
