Responsibilities* Consistently operating knife safely and efficiently.* Manufacturing the produce without guidance on specifications.* Meet quality expectations with reasonable yields.

* After extensive yielding and labor testing, someone in this position can be reviewed for advancement to Journeyman position.

* Set up cutting room as required* Keep cutting room and surrounding areas clean and sanitized* Follow company GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) to maintain sanitary conditions* Work continually in a refrigerated environment 35°F 45°F* Select, trim, cut according to customer orders, portion cutting, beef and pork* Manually handle individual cuts and full boxes of mea Complete miscellaneous other duties as assignedQualifications* High School Diploma/GED or 5 years’ meat cutting experience in lieu of diploma is required* Able to stand 8 hours cutting a variety of meat products* Ability to frequently lift using both hands/arms reaching, grasping, and carrying; weights up to 60 lbs., occasionally up to 80 lbs.* Ability to push equipment up to 65 lbs.* Ability to operate a pallet jack* Minimum 2 years’ experience in retail or wholesale meat cutting with excellent knife skills * Willingness to comply with all company policies and standards* Dependable* Willingness to works in a manner that ensures your own safety and the safety of others* Ability to pass a background investigation and drug testEOE Race/Color/Religion/Sex/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity/National Origin/Protected Veteran/Disability StatusPI132331758
