Analyst – Procurement Operations

BE PART OF SOMETHING REAL Role : Procurement Operations Analyst Reports to: Manager
– Procurement Operations Position Summary: This role will support all non-merchandise (indirect) procurement operations with specific focus on contract compliance, sourcing workflow & technology, and centralized category-purchasing processes.

The Procurement Operations Analyst must understand the basics of contract compliance, supplier enablement, RFX activities, and procure-to-pay processes.

This role will be responsible for ongoing support and process improvements with AEOs Ariba Contracts, B&I, Sourcing, and Spend Analytics modules.

Roles & Responsibilities: Develop and lead centralized category-purchase processes for the organization Evaluate and systemize non-merchandise sourcing processes (sourcing templates and workflows, three bids and a buy, digital sourcing events, etc.) Support the AEO contract repository intake and build process Build and manage downstream/transactional contracts for supplier invoicing Support contract compliance by department, assisting with monthly/quarterly reports for the strategic sourcing and executive leadership teams Assist with monthly spend analytics reports by category and vendor for finance partners Support ad hoc reporting for key users/groups within the broader organization Support PO and Contract compliance when engaging with the various end users (requestors, suppliers, procurement) Receive, analyze, and triage vendor and internal inquiries related to transactional p2p activity Additional responsibilities as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Resource should be located within commutable distance to the greater Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area (hybrid work schedule) Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Information Science, Finance, or related field 2 years of experience in Procurement, Shared Services or Finance Knowledge of Procurement and AP processes required Working knowledge of Ariba P2P Suite or comparable system required High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience with designing and leading end user training in corporate environments is desirable Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to collaborate with and influence peers, customers and senior management Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline, and internal customer-focused environment Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting About Us: American Eagle Outfitters (NYSE: AEO) is a leading global specialty retailer offering high-quality, on-trend clothing, accessories and personal care products at affordable prices under its American Eagle and Aerie brands.
