Job Summary This position is responsible for assessing and responding to the technology needs of CCEW quickly and effectively, integrating, cleansing, and aggregating CCEW data to form the basis for simple, effective, and comprehensive reporting and analytics. This position provides data based administrative support to the Director of Data Services. Job Duties/Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each of the essential duties/responsibilities listed below. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties/responsibilities of this job. * Integrate data from various systems to create comprehensive and dynamic reports in a timely fashion. * Analyze data to identify trends and provide insight into the effectiveness of the organization and its practices. * Process administrative paperwork including check requests/invoices. * Prepare documentation for IT/Data Services knowledgebase, technology training, and end-user instruction. * Assist with and organize IT/Data Services Projects for a wide variety of programs and services across the agency. * Develop and/or maintain efficient, supportable, and scalable processes and tools that address the organization’s data-related needs. * Assist with maintaining domain and other software user accounts from new hire setup through employee termination. * Maintain strict confidentiality (e.g., passwords and other system security features) for the purpose of ensuring agency security. * Provide basic one-on-one and/or group instruction to others on software and IT policies and procedures. * Research and/or order parts, equipment, software and supplies through warranty or Equipment Request Forms as needed or directed by supervisor. * Follow IT procurement procedures to maintain accurate hardware inventory. * Travel to other CCEW offices to provide front-line/in-person systems support. * Respond to and complete data reports and/or requests from Supervisor, VPs, and CEO in a timely fashion. * Checks email regularly and responds in a timely fashion. * Works as a team member to ensure the success of the Data Services Department. * Assist in CCEW’s ongoing efforts to achieve HIPAA compliance as directed by the Supervisor. * Uses appropriate administrative, fiscal, physical, and technical safeguards to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and security of CCEW client protected health information (PHI), per regulations outlined in the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA). * Will regularly utilize all forms of communication (email, text, phone, etc.) and database practices necessary for this position and as directed by supervisor. * As a mandated reporter, follows all procedures outlined in agency policies and procedures to report to the proper agency when there is suspicion and/or confirmation that a child or adult has been a victim of abuse or neglect. * Adheres to the tenets of Catholic Social Teaching and Catholic Doctrine. * Performs related functions necessary to support the mission and core values of Catholic Charities. Job Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed below. These qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform this job. **Education/Experience:** to perform this job successfully, an individual must have: * Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Statistics, Economics, Data Analytics, etc.) AND 1-2 years of experience in an academic, office OR a combination of education and experience. * Experience in collecting, interpreting, and analyzing data required. * Experience using query functions in a relational database preferred. * Experience with Salesforce preferred. * Experience with data visualization software (e.g., Power BI) preferred. * Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to apply creative solutions to complex problems required. * Prior work experience in areas related to social services, education, and/or poverty preferred. * Must have and maintain a current Washington driving license and evidence of automobile liability insurance. * Proficiency in MS Excel required. LANGUAGE SKILLS * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS * Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY * Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
