Dining Room Server Washington

This is a Full-time position in spokane, wa posted June 12, 2021.

The Server’s primary responsibility is to provide great dining service for seniors who have chosen to make our community their homeEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Graciously and respectfully assists residents in the dining room to be seated and make menu selections.

• Initiates the serving of all entrees; to include cold and hot beverage service, salad, soup, hot entrees, dessert service and last beverage service.

• Clears tables throughout the meal.
• Resets tables in the dining room within one hour of meal service.

• Operates dishwasher, puts dishes and utensils away.
• Strictly follows all guidelines related to hygiene and infection control.

• Restocks dining room tables with condiments.

• Observes when food and dining room supplies are low and is responsible to report the need for reorder to the Dining Service Director.
• Able to follow all dining services policies and procedures according to training manual.

• Performs any dining room vacuuming, dusting, plant watering, etc.
• Performs other duties as necessary when directed by supervisor.

* Protects patrons and employees by maintaining first aid, and cpr certification; maintaining sanitation procedures, rules, and regulations.* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Qualifications: to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essentialduty satisfactorily.

and must be able to pass states background clearanceEducation/Experience: High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Must be able to communicate both in written and spoken English.Certificates and Licenses: Must have a Food Handler’s Permit, as required.Language Skills: Read, write and interpret simple instructions.

Must be able to read and understand documents, policies and short correspondence in emails or phones.

Ability to clearly communicate to avoid confusion or misunderstanding with others.Physical Demands and Work Environment: The physical demands and work environment described below represent the activities and surroundings of the positions.

The work is typically performed in a dining room environment, with a moderate noise level.Consistently stands, frequently walks and occasionally sits for up to approximately one hour.

Requires constant standing and walking.

Frequent twisting and rotating head, neck, torso and arms.

Occasionally will bend, squat, reach, climb stairs and push/pull up to 10lbs.
