One Family.PURPOSE STATEMENTThe Production Lead is responsible for operating the equipment while also leading the production line to meet daily production targets.

The starting wage for this position is $18.00 per hour.

This shift is from 5:00pm to 2:30am.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMESPhysical AttendanceMust be able to follow instructions, including standard manufacturing procedures and processes.Works within and around the plant to assist in the manufacturing of our products.Works on a production line to assist with manufacturing our products following all production standard procedures.Complies with all Safety, GMP, Quality, Plant Policies and other Associate and food safety requirements.Must be able to operate an electric pallet jack and hand pallet jack.Transports all necessary supplies from the staging area in the warehouse to the production floor as necessary.Prepare and maintain materials and equipment at the start, during, and end of production.Ensures that all products are correct according to the SKU formula and integrity of appearance.Be able to set up all related machinery that is needed for production.Must know how to read and interpret product formulas and calculate the correct amounts of ingredients that are needed for the product to be mixed.Must accurately complete the Ingredient Log to document production run times, ingredient usage, lot codes, expiration dates, and an accurate amount of products produced.Must be able to accurately complete all required documentation related to Production and Quality.Must follow the weight instruction document as it relates to checking weights, overrun, and temperature.At the start of the shift, review the pre-ops report with the Quality Assurance department to ensure that all equipment meets requirements prior to the start of production.Must be able to create work orders for equipment that is not functioning.KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCEMust have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Must have the ability to write simple correspondence and effectively communicate information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, other employees in the organization and vendors.Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole number, common fractions and decimalsMust have the ability to work in and contribute to Production Improvement Teams and other temporary teams as assigned or as a volunteerAbility to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.Ability to conduct basic troubleshooting to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.Ability and desire to train other associates Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates (“Rich’s”), are committed to a policy of Equal Employment Opportunity and will not discriminate against an applicant or employee on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, national origin or ancestry, sex, age, physical or mental disability, veteran or military status, genetic information, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status or any other legally recognized protected basis under federal, state, or local law.
