HR Coordinator

This is a Full-time position in Spokane, WA posted March 31, 2021.

The HR Coordinator is an integral member of the team, with a proven track record of developing and leading employee training programs, enhancing employee engagement, and managing professional and organizational development.

In this role, the HR Coordinator will support and administer all HR-related programs and policies as well as ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.

Additional duties will include the coordination of employee health and welfare benefits, recruiting and retention, and improving HR policies and processes.The primary duties and responsibilities of this role will include the following, along with other tasks assigned from time to time:Sourcing and procuring training options (i.e., professional development, construction management, safety); coordination and facilitation of employee training; and tracking compliance with required trainings.Dedication to employee engagement initiatives.Ensures, advises and coordinates compliance with employment laws, regulations and training requirements to meet Federal and State mandates.Coordination of employee benefit enrollments and changes.

Process required documents through insurance providers to ensure accurate record keeping.

Ensure plans are administered in accordance with federal and state regulations.Ensures and oversees the coordination and manage the recruitment, selection and onboarding process of new employees in support of hiring manager.Responsible for organizational compliance with external requirements, including but not limited to: Affirmative Action Plan, Equal Employment Opportunity, VETS, EEO, FLSA and related aspects of lawful employment.Prompt and comprehensive response to workplace claims and ensure documentation and resolution of complaints is completed within organizational expectations.Develop performance management tools to assist in organizational efforts to proactively manage staff, facilitating discussion and efforts regarding career progression.Responsible for compliance with external HR reporting requirements.Write, revise, edit and proofread company HR policies & procedures and related documents as needed.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field required or Associates Degree with two (2) years’ experience in an HR roleOrganizational Development Degree preferredMinimum two (2) years’ experience in an organizational development and or employee engagement related positionHighly organized with demonstrated ability to maintain data integrity within HR settingDemonstrated ability to maintain effective and professional relationships within work settingDemonstrated ability to take initiative in work tasks Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.

The employee frequently is required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and use a computer.

The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

The Employee may lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
