Ensures customers are delighted by performing the key steps of our selling model.nn nn MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES nn nnConveys a commitment to providing unsurpassed Customer Service by performing the following Sales and Service Process steps:nn nnGreeting the Customernn nnExplaining the Process in a transparent waynn nnMerchandise Selectionnn nnFitting
– AccuFitnn nnSolve visual problems or challenges for customersnn nnTenderingnn nnDispensingnn nnServes as a center of excellence for others with a focus on Right the First Time and modeling our CEE service and selling model.nn nnAssists the customer in selecting frames and lenses that are best suited for their vision, lifestyle and budgetary needs.

Suggests improvements and recommends solutions to problems.

Assists other retail associates with difficult and complex areas of customer product needs and prescriptions.nn nnAnticipates problems before they occur; explores underlying reasons for recurring customer problems; goes beyond symptoms to get at causes; strives to develop long-term solutions to problems.nn nnShows patience and courtesy with customers; tracks down answers to unfamiliar questions or products.nn nnEducates the customer on LensCrafters guarantees and services including: Eyewear Protection Plan, eyewear care tips, complimentary adjustments and follow-up services.nn nnHandles tasks, such as taking and recording measurements, adjusting or fitting eyewear carefully and correctly, is thorough and exact in details.nn nnEnsures finished eyewear meets LensCrafters optical standards and customer requirements/requests.nn nnStrives to achieve Exceptional Results on LensCrafters annual CEI/Functional Skills that align with brand priorities.nn nnTakes personal ownership to achieve personal and store results.nn nnServes as a role model for development and a technical resource for all.nn nnOperates the Point of Sale terminal inputting customer and prescription information with accuracy and attention to detail.nn nnAccurately operates the Point of Sale, when required, collecting proper payment following company security procedures and retaining proper change for a variety of transactions.nn nnExplains to the customers One Hour processing and expected delivery times.nn nnShows customers where to pick-up their glasses upon return to the store.nn nnTakes pride in the appearance of the store and ensures visual displays are in accordance with Company provided planograms.nn nnMaintains safe working environment for all associates/customers.

Inform management of any potential safety opportunities (broken tiles, furniture, etc.)nn nnDemonstrates safe work practices including the wearing of personal protection equipment in the lab.nn nn BASIC QUALIFICATIONS nn nnHigh school graduate or equivalentnn nnPart of a sanctioned Apprentice Programnn nnStrong customer service skills: communicator, listener and team buildernn nnKnowledge of current optical theory and merchandisenn nnKnowledge of current store merchandisenn nnStrong basic math skillsnn nnAwareness of current fashion trendsnn nnSales and service skillsnn nnFamiliarity with POS, computers and calculatorsnn nnEmbrace new technology and changenn nn PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS nn nnActively studying for LensCrafters Quality, Fitting and Adjusting Programnn nnOptical dispensing experiencenn nnPrevious customer service and retail experiencenn nnUpon request and consistent with applicable laws, Luxottica will provide reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities who need assistance in the application and hiring process.
