The Order Management Specialist maintains customer service excellence within our network of franchisees and internal contacts while supporting their order management.

As a work from home/remote position for the Batteries Plus corporate office and national headquarters, the Order Management Specialist will work with franchise stores, corporate stores, supply chain and our logistics team providing helpful customer service both over the phone and through email communications in a fast-paced, call center environment.The Order Management Specialist performs accurate data entry, monitors and tracks product orders and shipments from our distribution center to our stores, and answers a high-volume of incoming calls providing trustworthy solutions to solve problems related to product orders, tracking, shipment, delivery, and overall order management for our retail and commercial customers.

You will have a passion for customer service and resolving issues, possess basic typing and keyboard skills, have an eye for detail and accuracy, the ability to quickly learn new software systems and processes, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with a fun team.

Responsibilities:Order Processing including administering and maintaining the product order process for stores, E-commerce, commercial business accounts, and vendor fulfillmentAnswer a moderate to high-volume of incoming phone calls in a call center environmentResolve daily order issues through frequent communication through phone and email with Stores, Management, Warehouse Operations, and the Logistics TeamMonitor and amend order status reports including data entry and cross-referencing for accuracyProvide internal customer service to franchise stores, corporate stores, and logistics teamResolve issues with incorrect addresses, returns, and freight claimsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, call center, order management, retail, logistics, freight, catalog fulfillment or e-commerce industryProficient in mathPreferred Qualifications:Associates Degree in supply chain, logistics, business or related field preferredProficient with Great Plains, MS Office.

Knowledge of Google products / G-Suite helpfulAbility to learn and navigate multiple internal databasesBasic typing, data entry, and keyboard skillsDemonstrated strong attention to detail and accuracyPrior experience in a call center or high-volume phone-based positionPassion for customer service and solving problemsA Bit About Us:Batteries Plus is the nation’s largest and fastest-growing battery, light bulb, phone repair and key fob replacement franchise with a nationwide network of over 720 stores.
