Learn more at www.multicarejobs.orgPosition Summary:The Placement Coordinator RN facilitates and manages communication, information and processes to coordinate acceptance and placement of patients. This position works in collaboration with outlying facilities for patient transfers, Urgent Care and Physician Clinics for same day admissions and Physicians and Specialists for consultation and/or acceptance. The Coordinator functions in a multidisciplinary, collaborative practice environment, to provide safe, efficient, timely and appropriate placement of patients.Schedule is 12 hour shifts, with rotating weekends and holidays.Minimum Requirements:Three (3) years recent experience in inpatient nursingER or CC experience desiredEducation/Licenses/Certifications:Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, or obtained within three years from the initial date of hireAdvanced Degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferredLicensed as a R.N. in the state of WashingtonBLS/CPR certification requiredACLS preferredMultiCare is an equal opportunity employer.
