Job Description: POSITION SUMMARY The Production Control Coordinator is responsible for daily oversight, scheduling, and reporting of a variety of functions across multiple departments. Project participation and input associated to process improvements are required. Timely and accurate reporting and communication is key to the success of the position. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Maintenance of a variety of different datasets within the ERP to support all areas of planning, scheduling, and workflow as it relates to lead times, run times and setup times. * Oversight of daily, weekly, monthly reporting in support of data controls. To include, audits, research and resolutions associated with manually scheduled machines. * Ancillary support of purchasing, fabrication, and assembly as it relates to foundational visual data and statuses. * Create, manage, and maintain documentation in support of change releases, (ECN) and control processes as it pertains to Visual Scheduling. * Communicate lead times to manufacturing (purchasing, fab, warehouse and assembly) as they relate to special projects and part sales orders. * Work with Master Scheduler on standard process lead times for future state shop scheduling. * Scheduling loaders, feeder, and other product lines as they are released into the project lifecycle. * Oversight of part sales expediting as it relates to scheduling. * Other tasks and duties as defined. PURCHASING AUTHORITY LEVEL None. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position has no direct reports and is not directly responsible for managing others. Education * AA Degree or equivalent experience Experience and Skills * Education requirement or four years of related experience in a product/production planning environment. * Experience in the following software packages is desired: * Infor "Visual Manufacturing" or similar ERP system * Microsoft Office Suite * Possesses good communication skills, a positive "get-it-done" attitude, and the ability to work as part of a team in a demanding production environment. * Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures. * Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. * Ability to effectively present information to other Associates and respond to practical situations. * Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. * Ability to develop assembly level build requirements in logical order. * Ability to utilize personal computer equipped with business system, database, spreadsheet, word processing and configurator management software. Physical Requirements To successfully perform the essential functions of this job, an individual must be willing and able to * Travel as needed. * Sit at a desk or computer for extended periods of time. * Move about the office and factory with occasional lifting, bending and reaching. * Dial, hear and respond to telephone calls and inquiries. * Communicate effectively (visually and verbally) with internal and external contacts. * Meet requirements of daily attendance on job for a full, continuous work schedule.
