Program Lead (Mentor/Caregiver)

This is a Full-time position in Spokane, WA posted November 23, 2021.

SUMMARY & OBJECTIVE:

The Program Lead is directly responsible for assisting the Program Manager in overall coordination of day-to-day operations of the program.

The Program Lead support approaches in the best interest of the client by ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for clients and training staff thoroughly.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in developing and maintaining policies and procedures in compliance with the requirements of state, local, and federal agencies.
Assist in recruiting, training, and managing personnel in the program.
Supervise and provide adequate program/client training of Support Staff.
Providing On-Call for the program with a response time of 25 minutes or less.
Helping maintain the appearance of the home both inside and outside, on the property.
Participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of Individualized Behavior Management Plans (IBMPs) and Individualized Service Treatment Plans (ISTPs) for each client in the program.
Keep parents, guardians, and/or social workers advised of client’s progress on a continuing basis and remain in contact with the Executive Director as well as administration.
Function as the primary back-up resource during emergency situations.
Function as spokesperson for the program in the community.
Assist in completing all written plans as requested by the Program Manager.
Maintain company-issued cell phone after review and signature of BreakThrough Inc.

Administration.
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience with developmentally, physically, and emotionally challenged adolescents.
Demonstrated and/or documented skills in developing, implementing, and evaluating Individualized Behavior Management Plans (IBMPs) and Individualized Service Treatment Plans (ISTPs).
Demonstrated and/or documented ability to manage staff and fiscal resources (company credit card).
Demonstrated and/or documented skills in community relations.
Must be able to pass a DCYF background check.
Minimum of 1 years experience as Support Staff, in direct care, and/or in the process of a college degree in a related field.
Supervisory capabilities that promote effective staff performance.
Relevant experience, training and demonstrated skills in each area that he or she will be supervising.
Displays capabilities operating and understanding computers/typing and general office equipment.

Watched the Mandated Reporters Video.
Take required De-escalation training (Right Response) and any other required training that Administration/DCYF requires.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50
– $18.00 per hour
