Senior Compliance Analyst-Consumer Lending

Northwest Farm Credit Services is in search of a Senior Compliance Analyst-Consumer Lendingto join ourLegal teamin ourSpokane Headquarters. Northwest FCS is a four-time recipient of the Gallup Great Workplace Award, and the top scoring large company in the Best Place to Work-Inland Northwest competition four years in a row.This full-time position reports to the Director-Compliance and is responsible for leadingreview, implementation and ongoing maintenance of processes and documentation for assigned compliance areas. The Senior Compliance Analyst helps ensure that the organization and employees operate within the applicable state and/or federal regulatory requirements as well as established company policies and procedures. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnsures policies, procedures, job aides and forms accurately outline regulatory requirements including regular reviews to identify and address hidden risks and compliance concerns. Approves changes and new compliance related forms prior to publication.Collaborates to routinely assess organizational compliance with applicable laws and regulations at the program level.Evaluates compliance monitoring and controls to identify material gaps. Works with supervisor and impacted business teams to compile a Compliance Risk Assessment including possible remediation options.Reports regulatory risks to the Director of Compliance with documentation to support business decisions regarding processes associated with an identified compliance risk.Performs compliance reviews of marketing materials and advertisements and works to resolve compliance related concerns prior to approving materials for publication.Provides branch support to ensure lending activities meet regulatory requirements.Assists auditors, regulators, and other examiners during routine audits and exams. Identifies trends requiring training or direct guidance to staff.Manages implementation of products, services, current or planned business activities through project representation and documents business decisions regarding compliance risk for reporting to the Director of Compliance.Monitors changing regulations and communicates to Director of Compliance about federal and state legislation that could impact the organizationMaintains comprehensive knowledge of industry best practices and mentors other compliance department staff. Stays informed on regulatory enforcement actions and other regulatory activities with potential impact to the Association.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in law, business, finance or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum of 5 years’ experience in financial services required, specifically related to lending in a compliance, audit, or quality control role Certificates/LicensesCertified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) preferredNorthwest FCS is maintaining full business operations during the COVID-19 pandemic, including hiring for open positions.
