Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor

Northwest Farm Credit Services is in search of a Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our Human Resources team in our Spokane Headquarters location.

As a member-owned financial cooperative, we help business owners in agriculture, forestry and fisheries secure the financing they need to operate and grow, and the crop insurance they need to protect their livelihoods.

Our customers are primarily located in Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Washington and Alaska.

This full-time position reports to the Director-Employment and Recruiting and partners directly with business leaders to hire talent for multiple divisions within Northwest FCS.

The primary focus will be on exempt level roles in our lending, crop insurance, appraisal, and risk management teams, and the associated entry level talent pipeline.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Consult with hiring managers to understand their business and staffing needs; determine and execute optimal courses of action to source, screen, recruit and present qualified, diverse talent.
Screen potential candidates and manage the interview and offer process for all assigned positions; create an outstanding candidate experience at every step.
Track candidates throughout the application and selection process, and extend and negotiate offers.
Collaborate with HR team SMEs including but not limited to compensation decisions, due diligence processes, and relevant compliance.
Oversee and facilitate university recruiting efforts, in collaboration with appointed university Ambassadors, to fill Northwest FCS’ Trainee talent pipeline.
Register for campus recruiting activities efforts, such as career fairs, with selected colleges and universities based on established needs; ensure appropriate representation at selected universities for recruiting related events.
Collaborate with the Marketing department to update or create campus collateral materials and social media; create presentations for others’ use at recruiting events.
Manage selection process for Northwest FCS’ Land Grant University and Minority Scholarship recipients.
Collaborate with appropriate leaders to facilitate Pipeline Trainee placements.
Support/assist with the design and delivery of annual learning refresher for Trainee coaches.
Represent HR on university relations teams.
Participate on various committees and projects as assigned.
Perform all duties and maintain all standards in accordance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Advanced knowledge of talent acquisition procedures and best practices, including research, sourcing, networking, candidate management, interviewing, negotiation, and closing.
Ability to develop rapport, credibility, and trust quickly; ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
Significant and progressively responsible and complex talent acquisition experience, including the ability to learn, navigate and effectively utilize a recruiting tech stack.
Advanced ability to assess and consult with hiring managers and coach/guide selection team members, applying influence and persuasion when appropriate.
Ability to thrive and deliver solid results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment comprised of numerous and concurrent work streams.
Effective time, project management, and decision making skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions.
Ability to create written communication that is concise and appropriate to context.
Ability to deliver training presentations and speak engagingly in front of large groups.
Ability to travel to regional universities and colleges for campus recruiting events.
