Plastic Surgery Northwest is looking for a full time Certified Surgical Tech to join our team.Plastic Surgery Northwest (PSNW), a comprehensive Plastic Surgery Center office and Ambulatory Surgery Center, offers a diverse array of services in both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. PSNW strives to create a functional, friendly and efficient environment so that we may provide excellent service to all of our patients. Our practice expands the breadth of plastic surgery options available in Spokane and its surrounding areas; improving the depth of support available to patients and medical centers in this region.We are looking for an employee that aligns with our commitment to providing the highest quality service in their interactions with patients and all those they interact with in the work environment. PSNW is the largest plastic surgery group in the Inland Northwest and includes a comprehensive ambulatory surgery center.The Surgical Technician is responsible for maintaining aseptic technique, preparing for and assisting with surgical procedures. Responsible for instrumentation, supplies and equipment. Applies knowledge and training to ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure, anticipates the surgical team’s needs, and maintains the sterile field.To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed here:Requirements:- Possesses good manual dexterity and ability to execute detailed technical procedures.- Able to communicate appropriately verbally and in writing to physicians, OR team, patients and visitors.- Able to organize and prioritize the multiple demands of the position.- Able to identify occupational hazards and use safety precautions.- Able to work well with others.Preferred Experience:- Three to Five years of operating room experience.Education/Licenses/Certifications:Current Surgical Technician registration in the state of WashingtonCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationCertified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) preferred.PSNW offers a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees and competitive wages.If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply here with your resume.
