The Intake Representative will participate in required training to demonstrate an understanding of obtaining necessary claim loss detail for companies across our enterprise.Job Description:Job Level Summary* Requires working knowledge and skills developed through formal training or work experience.* Identifies the problems and all relevant issues in straightforward situations, assesses each using standard procedures, and makes sound decisions.* Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision.Primary Accountabilities* Acquire claim knowledge through training and mentorship.* Review and apply coverage and process payments.* Demonstrate effective planning and organizational skills, which includes; time management, adhering to a schedule and servicing claims.* Handle inbound and outbound call interactions.* Completion of FNOL and cross-functional responsibilities with multiple lines of business across the enterprise.* Demonstrate the ability to problem solve and work independently.* Identify and gather necessary information to accurately process claims and achieve business goals.* Provide exceptional customer service to internal/external customers and business partners.* Utilize claim systems and other applications necessary to complete job tasks proficiently.* Live our values.Travel Requirements* This position requires travel up to 5% of the time.Specialized Knowledge and Skills Requirements* Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service* Demonstrated claim knowledge* Demonstrated planning and organizational skills.* Demonstrated experience handling inbound and outbound call interactions.* Demonstrated ability to problem solve and work independently.Additional Job Information:This is a remote, work from home position.You must be located in the continental United States to qualify.When you work at American Family Insurance Claims Services you can expect benefits that support your physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing.
