I AM A GIVER The Director of Nursing (DON) will oversee the management and maintenance of health care for all residents living in our Skilled Nursing neighborhoods.

This person will be accountable for such duties as employee recruitment and development within the care teams; budget and profitability of the licensed care programs; ensuring compliance with state and federal agencies; and acting as a liaison between residents, physicians, families, and appropriate health care resources.

The ideal candidate will: * Be committed to Touchmark?s values (hospitality, compassion, excellence, teamwork, and integrity), and have the desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends, and givers* Current State Registered Nurse license, Minimum of four (4) years experience in a long term care facility;* A minimum of an Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited program;* B.S.N.

degree is preferred. Nursing management experience may substitute for educational requirements; Annually complete CEU’s relevant to nursing administration in long-term care.* Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment* Be proficient with computers, including intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office* Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors Benefits: Touchmark is dedicated to providing the best for our residents, and it all begins with providing the best for our employees.
