Manager IV, Customer Account Technologist – (M4)

Do you want to be a part of a team that works directly with premier semiconductor fabs in solving the most difficult problems in Logic, DRAM and 3DNAND?We’re looking for a Customer Account Technologist (CAT) Manager to:Lead CAT team in identifying and tracking customer applications and high value problems.Manage introduction and qualification of new processing chambers, HW CIPs and processes at customer sites.Strategize with Account Team, Business Management, Marketing and business unit Technology and Engineering teams to enable customer success and new application wins.Track and manage field issues worldwide and lead team in systematic problem solving to accomplish rapid escalation resolution.Manage worldwide product evaluations to achieve business wins.Manage demos for sustaining products to generate new applications with existing products to capitalize on revenue opportunities.Guide the business unit in identifying and developing CIPs to increase product residual value.Serve as the interface between business unit and field teams and the customer.

Manage interaction with customers including customer escalation meetings, and technology review meetings.Functional KnowledgeDemonstrates in-depth understanding of concepts, theories and principles of semiconductor equipment HW and wafer processing.Business ExpertiseHas strong knowledge of the semiconductor equipment industry.

Has worked directly with customers, account teams, and business unit to introduce and qualify new technologies and to solve customer problems.LeadershipManages a team of CAT engineers; adapts plans and priorities to resolve customer issues and ensures success of process and hardware development programs.Possess strong program management skills to ensure customer requests as well as execution of customer programs are met in a timely manner.Problem SolvingStrong problem-solving skills and experience: Identifies and resolves process and hardware, operational and organizational problemsImpactImpacts the level of service and the team’s ability to meet quality, volume, and timeliness objectivesGuided by policies and resource requirements within business unit, department or sub-functionInterpersonal SkillsWorks effectively in a matrix group: Guides, influences and persuades others internally in related areas or externallyPosition requires understanding of Applied Materials global Standards of Business Conduct and compliance with these standards at all times.
