Talent Engagement & Retention Manager (HR)

This is a Full-time position in Spokane, WA posted September 4, 2021.

Purpose of Job:Improve the overall health of the communities we serve by developing and supporting workforce engagement and retention strategies as follows:Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* Researches, recommends, develops, and implements diversity, equity and inclusion program activities which cultivate an inclusive and desirable work environment.* Develops innovative approaches which create and foster a culture of inclusion and belonging that drives the organization’s recruitment, promotion, and retention strategies.* Analyzes, researches, recommends, and implements employee morale and retention strategies, with the ultimate goal of ensuring staff feel engaged and supported.* Creates and delivers various trainings and workshops for both leaders and staff, relating to selection, engagement, and retention of diverse employees.* Works closely with organizational leaders to support improved work relationships, building morale, and improved retention.* Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the Workforce Development team to develop solutions, programs and policies.* Maintains compliance with federal and state employment regulations.* Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or Business Administration; or equivalent years of experience required.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in human resources preferred.

Management experience preferred.

Experience in healthcare industry preferred.

SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR or SPHR preferred.

Prior experience developing DE&I program development preferred.

Valid driver’s license and insurance required.Skills: Computer skills required.

Strong cultural awareness and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Knowledge of legal requirements affecting human resources functions required.

Excellent verbal, written, and analytical skills required.

Excellent organization and follow-up skills required.

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality required.

Ability to work under tight time constraints, handle high stress and changing priorities required.Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to hear, use vision, stand, sit and be mobile.

The employee will use hands to finger, handle or feel.

Communicating occurs constantly throughout the day.
