Well, we have an absolutely unique experience that has recently become available in Dana Point at the Aventura sailing club.

We have secured a beautfiul brand new 42 ft Lagoon Catamaran, available for Charters and time-share memberships.

It’s the only catamaran that is available for the entire Dana Point professional and high-net-worth clientele of the area.

We need to add a stellar sales person to be in charge of the sales of the charters and memberships for this catamaran resulting in luxury experiences that are not found anywhere else in the area.

Essential Functions : develop, implement, track, execute, and report sales for charters.

Sells and market to external prospects including corporate events, meetings, trainings, wedding/wedding-related events, private events Outreach efforts to include: Prospecting Generate new leads list for new business outside of Aventura generated leads Sales opportunities Manage existing leads database of 3,000 to generate charter sales (corporate, private, events) Identify and manage new charter sales opportunities in Orange County area Identify and promote networking and partnerships (Hotels.

Resorts, Chamber of Commerce, Local Businesses and more) through local meetings, events and more Personal Sales Calls / Emails Outreach to all existing and new leads, build personal relationships and trust, convert leads into sales Reporting on new activity (weekly and monthly reports) Professionally and efficiently responding to incoming inquiries by phone, email, web, etc.

Establish and maintain relationships to foster long-term client accounts within market/territory Follow through on charters/events from start to finish, attend/supervise occasional events as needed Prepare, attend, and participate in regular sales meetings and operation meetings, reporting results of sales efforts; closing rates, pipeline, lead sources, etc.

Position Summary: This position is responsible for developing a portfolio of charter clients and providing seven-star quality of service to ensure repeat business and optimum client satisfaction.

The candidate will work closely with the Marketing Director in developing business goals and targets for strategic growth, while also ensuring seamless promotion of charter retail services to prospective clients.

Areas of Responsibility Charter Retail Sales: Respond to client enquiries and requests, Generate personal charter sales according to set targets.

Develop & grow personal client book and expand conversion rate for bookings in order to grow the business, Provide fast & effective service and ensure seven-star service for our clients.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent professional experience Good track record for meeting sales goals Two years outside sales experience, charter/hospitality/event experience preferred Exceptional telephone skills Ability to communicate to all external and internal clients and other departments Strong ability for writing concisely and correctly for letter writing and proposals Solid time management, organization and prioritization skills Must be able to work some weekends Knowledge and use of social media to drive sales with LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.

The ability to create new business plus maintain current client relationships Good computer skills (Microsoft Office, Google Suite, some database management) Conformity to the highest standards of personal integrity and ethical behavior Exceptional customer service abilities Must have own vehicle and good driving record with valid drivers license A previous background in the charter / travel and/ or event industries including sales and customer service duties as well as a familiarity of the local area.

Excellent communication skills, including written and spoken English, are required.

Shift/Hours Required: PART-TIME, flexible schedule as long as goals are met (other times as needed to show yachts and meet Charters; may include evenings and weekends) Off-site meetings and sales calls out of office Travel Required: Local level only Part-Time Pay: Base salary (up tp $2,500/mo) plus draw/commission up to $30,000 per year Job Types: Part-time, Contract Pay: $50,000.00
